High Speed Planetary Gearbox

• Designed and developed a high-speed (>15,000rpm input) planetary gearbox as part of a commercial, hybrid electric series drive for a city bus application.

• To date BPTi has produced prototypes and over 150 production gearboxes and anticipates significant follow-on production in 2004 and beyond.
