US ARMY FCS MULE Hub Gearbox Assembly
BPTi designed, manufactured and developed hub gearboxes for the six wheeled FCS MULE robotic vehicle.  The self-contained hub gearboxes incorporated a 36:1 reduction and an electronic brake.  Each hub gearbox assembly mates to a high speed electric motor.  These units are in engineering evaluation for the MULE program. 

Truck Transmission High Speed Power Takeoff (PTO) Another short cycle (7 weeks) development program to provide a high speed PTO drive for a wheeled combat vehicle.  The BPTi PTO mounts without modification to an Allison truck transmission.

Starter Offset Translating Gear Train                              This geartrain was devised to allow repositioning of the OEM starter.  The entire geartrain translates during engine start to engage the flywheel.  This assembly was designed and prototyped for a demonstrator test in approximately 4 weeks.
