History

Berkshire PowerTech is a privately held S-corporation founded in March of 2000 by a group of nine highly technical design and manufacturing engineers all who have excelled as leaders in companies such as General Electric, Lockheed-Martin and General Dynamics.

The company began in a small office below The Brewery in Pittsfield, Massachusetts and quickly expanded to its current location in the Sweitzer-Mauduit Columbia Mill in Lee, Massachusetts.  Our office and production space overlooks the babbling Housatonic River in the former R&D facility of the mill. Berkshire PowerTech is now a thriving engineering services company with annual sales that have grown to over $5M.
